why are we praying?
- There is unity in praying together (John 13:35 & Ecclesiastes 4:12)
- Media are storytellers who have influence, and set the tone and direction of important cultural conversations.
- ‘The Media’ is people. We support those called to serve in Christian, secular media, arts and entertainment.
- Pray for truth, integrity and justice in a world crying out for God’s love, grace and compassion.
- Prayer builds bridges, restores relationships and advances reconciliation.
GET INVOLVED
From east to west, as the sun rises to greet the new day, we will pray. Join us for the first ever 24 hour livestream global day of prayer for the media, arts and entertainment. On Sunday October 27 we will unite together. Hosts from around the world will take turns to lead us. And guest speakers representing the diverse media arena and Christian denominations across the continents will encourage and inspire our prayers.

Who can pray? Anyone who wants to pray for media. We want to lift up this industry in heartfelt and active prayer. Whether you’re a church, prayer group, individual or work in this industry. Media impacts all our lives.

WHO'S BEHIND THIS INITIATIVE?
Individually, we are organisations passionate about supporting those called to serve in the religious and secular media, arts and entertainment industries. As Christians, of all denominations, we feel called to stand for truth, integrity and justice in a world crying out for God’s love, grace and compassion.
In 2024 we have united to bring about the first global day of prayer for the media, arts and entertainment. The following founding organisations have united to bring this event to you: Christians in Media UK, Christian Media & Arts Australia, CBA NZ and Hollywood Prayer Network.
